C’an Y’esh
He was a very great man
Who Loved God with All His heart-
and did not only Love those within His school, but any who might come to Him.
Therefore, He became a school unto Himself.
Let us follow: Be a Love apart from institutions, but not against them;
so that our very DNA and everything we make
becomes the church God lives in
and so, we become a teaching rod, a search light-
a way through unto ourselves.
The CEO
The CEO spoke, sadly, hopefully, perhaps admonishingly, to the crowd of employees he gathered before him to help his cause.
His wealth was obvious to all.
“It will take… a long time (he sighed)… for most of you here to be as I am; as, through my own vision, I created a wheel for my vision to be produced. But… you will learn- often in the dark of other people’s shade upon you- seeking your own light, and in it, your own vision, and in it… your will. I beg of you to learn and apply your learning to your own purpose, to help further our mutual aims. But, be warned: there are those that wish only to have as I have without being as I am, responsible to what’s mine. Beware of such people. Surely, loyalties divide them from us.
To H when I saw you again
Obviously, something hit me rather deeply
When I saw you again.
It was a lot of Love, but also pain.
A lot of pain
and not only mine, but yours.
I believe it happened, this explosion, so that I would
take to Jesus more strongly
so that I would see how flimsy I could be.
Your answer was quick and complete-
so quick you did not even notice saying it.
Before it was even a question in my mouth or mind,
your answer was a knife too quick even for blood.
I am speaking to you from this “too deep” place.
It would be better if I had joked around, been cool, been wise.
I don’t know if I’m capable of this right now, as I was not then-
as this “too deep” to you
is deeper than I could bare, first.
$Quadrillion Deal
The Human Being Hall of Fame, built, say, on the border between Israel and Egypt.
Every global figure that contributed greatly toward Humanity will have a shrine, a visitation station there. It will be a hall of immortals and humankind’s best friends- the greatest propagators of the human spirit.
Right
After all you have read (Rumi, Gurdjieff, Jesus)
you don’t now wish to rise above
the “right and wrong” way of thinking?
Millions of people, maybe half the world, my friend
are at war against other men;
against causes that mirror themselves hatefully.
Will you be the judge for each of them
while you fight any war but your own?
These men are dying
dying!!!
each of them has one life
and this terrible, tragic fire
devours their good causes;
Their hearts’ tenderness (stabbed
as their brother was shot
or as their best friend went down)
is what Evil greedily preyed upon
to wrile them toward this violent banter.
What? Would you save each of them
with hot words offered to the side you care for the most?
It is tragic
perhaps most of all for the persecutors
but we can not see beyond this world to prove that yet (but for
priceless moments piercing the beyond
when we are shown first what the actions of other men amount to
and then how those actions take place in ourselves) .
What will all of this amount to
to the individuals at play
and to our world,
the world that the Earth
with her joyous vision
creates and then feeds upon
for right
or for wrong?
