Cowboys and Indians

Cowboy and Indian approach center stage where they meet facing each other. Cowboy generously stands tall, looks the Indian in the eye, and reaches to shake his hand. Indian stands tall with stone face and raises the palm of his hand to face the Cowboy. Cowboy, offended, takes a swing at Indian and hits him. Indian rocks backward and finds his bow and arrow, pulls a bow and shoots it at Cowboy. Cowboy, insinuating war, pulls his gun from its holster, drops to one knee and levels it at the Indian. Indian, hit in the abdomen, sulks off covering his wound with the hand he said “how” (hello) with, glancing back at the cowboy several times before he exits stage left. Cowboy, stricken with what has transpired, shakes his head, confusedly, almost innocently confused. He lowers his revolver and exits stage right.
