 The CEO

The CEO spoke, sadly, hopefully, perhaps admonishingly, to the crowd of employees he gathered before him to help his cause.
His wealth was obvious to all.

“It will take… a long time (he sighed)… for most of you here to be as I am; as, through my own vision, I created a wheel for my vision to be produced. But… you will learn- often in the dark of other people’s shade upon you- by seeking your own light, and in it, your own vision, and in it… your will. I beg of you to learn and apply your learning to your own purpose, to help further our mutual aims.

But, be warned: there are those that wish only to have as I have without being as I am, responsible to what’s mine. Beware of such people. Surely, loyalties divide them from us.

The Guru

I know that I am a million centuries old; as the Universe was formed, I came into Being.

I teach you only what you wish to become.  Please leave off from your striving and join with me.  I am the True Self, in totality.  Leave yourself, your name behind- it is only ego; enter my bliss.

The Witch

I seek you in the places you are most weak

and work on you, there.

I whittle away at you,

pour the acid of my emotions upon you,

pull your strong supports from under you one by one.

Then, with a single breath, I breathe on you

the mold and rot from many a poisoned earth touching your face.

I say just a one cheap, but effective word to your energies

and you fall.

I control you with a single thought, now, just by thinking it

and you cannot resist.

I will be disappointed when you die

but you will feed me for a very long time.
